木漏れ日 or komorebi is a Japanese word that means sunlight streaming through the trees.
This is part of a series of paintings of individual words that describe beautiful happenings or philosophies that speak of our shared humanity. During the Covid-19 crisis, we are all going through an especially challenging time and I have found discovering these words to be grounding and has often evoked a sense of peacefulness.
